Demi Cup Bra

The perfect bra is a demi cup bra because it strikes the ideal chord between modesty, delicacy, and sensuality. It perfectly reflects your personality and fits you like a glove. These bras are extremely functional and adaptable.

SAY YES TO DEMI-COVERAGE BRAS

Demi in French means half, the word was adopted to the English dictionary later. Today Demi-Coverage Bras are crowd-pullers. The Demi-Coverage Bra is a cup variation in which the cups are one inch above the nipples, covering only half a portion of the breasts. These have been peers of the Full-Coverage Bras for years, although often people contemplate what each one must do and what is best for them.

Although it is technically called a half-cup bra, these days designers have made it 3/4, so the cup gives a 3/4 coverage which is a little more than half.

Since the Bra provides only half coverage, women with larger breasts have their reservations wearing it. But a half cup does not mean less support, because 90% of the support for your breasts comes from the band of a bra. The gore, which is the center part of the bra is between the two cups varies in size in every Type of Bra. In a demi cup, the gore is shorter than it is in a Full Coverage Bra. One end of either cups is attached to the gore this is why the length of the gore will largely determine the size of the cups.

By the look of it, it may resemble a push-up or a plunge bra because it shows the cleavage. But that is only for women who naturally have a defined cleavage. The demi-coverage bra plays no role in the cleavage.

DEMI-COVERAGE vs BALCONETTE BRAS

A very widespread confusion among women is about identification of these two bras. Some brands inter-change its name, but the original meaning of a balconette bra is elaborated below.

A balconette cup is completely horizontal, the cups are at 180 degrees. They resemble a balcony railing, and they reveal most of the breasts.
